GoodWe launches new EHB single phase hybrid inverter, for larger residential energy storage applications

GoodWe has launched the new EHB, single phase, high voltage, hybrid inverter in Australia and New Zealand. Ranging from 5kW to 10kW, this single-phase, high-voltage, hybrid inverter is designed to meet the demand for larger residential energy storage solutions, with enhanced performance, intelligent safety features and back-up capabilities, along with in-built features to make installation quick and easy.  A “Hybrid-ready” range of EHB inverters will also be launched in the coming months, allowing even greater flexibility for consumers.

Leading global inverter and storage system manufacturer GoodWe, offers the largest inverter range on the market for residential and commercial applications.  The new GoodWe EHB inverter supports 200% PV oversizing to allow for systems up to 20kW in size, with up to 4 MPPTs for large or complex rooftops and UPS-level switching of less than 10 milliseconds, when the grid is down or compromised. The backup function is ideal for both new installations and retrofit projects, and can even be integrated into a micro-grid system, ensuring the normal operation of on-grid systems during blackouts.

The EHB has also been designed to make installation quick and easy, thanks to a plug-and-play, lightweight design, new generation Wi-Fi + LAN 2.0 module integration and a GoodWe Smart Meter supplied as standard with every inverter.  A “Hybrid-ready” EHB range will also be available in the coming months, should consumers want more time and flexibiity to add energy storage to their home or small business.
